Arts Schooling Makes Us Higher Folks
Not everyone desires to spend their three or more years at college studying a vocational, scientific or technical topic. Our inclusive strategy honours diversity and the rich demographic mixture of our school communities. Shari Tishman, a lecturer in the AIE program, a senior research associate at Harvard Project Zero, and an advisory to many AIE students through the years, expects her e book on Gradual Wanting: The Art and Observe of Learning Via Statement to be launched by Routledge in November of 2017.

The Regional Arts & Culture Council (RACC) is committed to creating a permanent dwelling for the arts in all Portland metro space faculty districts. Jessica Hoffmann Davis, founding former director of the HGSE Arts in Schooling program, has printed an excessive amount of work since stepping down from her job in 2004. She has contributed articles to such collections as Culturally Related Arts Training for Social Justice (co-edited by Mary Stone Hanley and others), Studies in Art Schooling, and the article, Ka ulana ‘ana i ka piko (In Weaving You Start on the Heart) , in the special spring 2013 arts-training issue of the Harvard Instructional Assessment.
Our lecturers have won extra Australian Government awards, citations, fellowships and grants than every other college, together with two Arts, Schooling and Regulation employees being named Australian University Trainer of the Year. The College of British Columbia Artwork Education Program ranks within the high eight in North America and is one among two PhD programs in Canada.
