The New York City Arts in Schooling Roundtable is a service group and a community of arts training practitioners sharing information, providing professional improvement, and speaking with the public to promote our work in schools and beyond. A liberal arts education will stay the most sensible preparation for lifelong employment because it promotes mental and personal growth; and it equips the person to cope with change by having the ability to adapt to the workplace as it continues to transform. Now accepting functions for Annual Arts Training Grants together with Funds for At-Danger Youth, Arts Schooling Teacher Training, Arts Training Group Studying, and Arts360.
Dana Frantz Bentley, Ed.M.’05, a preschool instructor at Buckingham Browne and Nichols School in Cambridge, is the creator of Everyday Artists: Inquiry and Creativity within the Early Childhood Classroom (New York: Teachers College Press, 2013) and of a variety of articles on the humanities, pedagogy, and instructor research in the early childhood classroom.
