The B.A. Major Concentration program, provided via the College of Arts, is for college students seeking a broadly primarily based undergraduate liberal arts schooling by a wide range of complementary and elective courses. A tiny portion of our defense finances would easily fund artwork and music in our faculties nationwide. Slightly, the MA is awarded to a student within the MA/PhD program in music theory after satisfying one international language requirement and after completing 30 credits (with no less than nine credit hours of non-theory electives) in the course of study for the PhD in idea with a grade of B or greater.
Yet many schools will minimize artwork and music to focus on getting higher scoring outcomes! Music Archeology, Music Appreciation, Introduction to Musicology, Methodology (analysis strategies) of Music, Philology of Music, Orchestration, Counterpoint and Fugue, Acoustics of Music, Aesthetic Philosophy, Composer or Style, Subjects in Music Literature, Introduction to Music Bibliography.
