Using key concepts in narrative principle and historiography, it will study the ways by which narratives of history are crafted by way of literature and the way literary texts can impression on our understanding and interpretation of history. Through seminars and independent apply college students learn the abilities to work with and for community teams and pursuits, using performance-making as a means to handle real-world problems and social issues. This module introduces college students to writing in varied genres, with potentialities including fantasy, science-fiction, period/historical, young adult fiction, horror, comedy, romance, crime, and thriller.

It covers the history of the European and American avant-garde from the mid-nineteenth century to the Sixties, with reference to pictures, mechanical reproduction, cinema, advertising, consumerism, and life in the modern metropolis.
